Candy corn. Some people just pumped their fists with excitement…others wrinkled their nose in disgust. If you’re in the disgust camp, you can leave the candy corn off or replace it with something else. Ooh, those caramel bullseyes could be good! But I digress. I’m firmly in the fist pumping camp. I didn’t think it could get any better than the old school candy corn but when they released caramel candy corn a few years ago, I’d met my spirit candy. It takes everything in me not to blow through a whole bag in a day or two, so I make these cookies and call it even.
