It’s finally here!  The 12 Days of Treats 2017 and I’m kicking it off with an elegant twist on a thumbprint cookie.  When I was a kid, I wrinkled my nose at any cookie with jam but thank goodness our tastes change if we just allow ourselves to try things again as an adult!  I found this recipe in a magazine decades ago and it’s been one of my favorites ever since.  Ahh, the days before Pinterest!  Now don’t let the risque name fool you, these babies are nothing but sweet and sassy!

Sur La TableIn this video, I’ll show you how to make this cookie for the perfect holiday gift or afternoon tea.  It shows you how to bring it all together and what the recipe should look like in different stages.

If you like this recipe, consider subscribing to the YouTube channel and click the bell to be notified when new videos go live.   I’ll have a new recipe every day the first 12 days of December so consider signing up for email notifications so you don’t miss a new treat!  I’d love to have you cook with me!  Looking for recipes of 12 Days of Treats past?  Just click here and it’ll list all the goodness from last year!  (Other delicious cookies can be found here.)

As a bonus, this recipe is extra special because day one of the 12 Days of Treats is a collaboration with my friends at Country Hill Cottage!   These ladies have wonderful recipes, craft tutorials and printables that are perfect for gift giving.  They have created special free printable gift tags just for the occasion and I think you’ll love them as much as I do!  Be sure to check them out and tell them Mrs. Kringle sent you!  😉
