Ice Cream Cone Cake

When it’s summer, what is the first thing most people crave? Ice cream cones, of course! There’s  nothing like the first taste of your favorite flavor sitting on a sugar or cake cone to make you feel like a kid again.  When you want the full ice cream cone effect for a crowd without having to stand there scooping while hoping none of them fall onto the floor en route to their intended recipient, this is the cake you want and it’s only three ingredients!

Did I mention there is fudge sauce involved?

It almost reminds me of that fancy pants ice cream cake Viennetta from the 90’s but like it got hit with the ugly stick.   But we’re an accepting crowd, right?  We prefer quality to vanity especially when it’s all going to the same place!  A childhood cookie favorite (well, pre-1990’s I presume) provides the crunch of a cake cone while your favorite ice cream and a respectable* amount of fudge sauce does the rest.   (*- Respectable being in the eye of the beholder, of course.)  It won’t be long before you’re asking for another slice!
