Get Lean in 2019!

Fair warning, I’m writing this in November 2018 because I anticipate with all of the holiday baking, visiting and hoopla…mama is gonna need a break and I’m giving myself one this week!  #selfcare

But I guarantee this catchphrase has probably already been used to sell you some kind of gym membership or fitness equipment.  All you really need when the holidays leave you looking like a busted can of biscuits are some good foundation recipes to get you back on track.  Luckily, I have some good ones to get you started!

Mexican Spaghetti Squash

Tuna Zucchini Rounds

Mexican Veggie Quinoa Bake

Hearty Chili

Bone Broth Won Ton Soup

How to Make Cauliflower Rice

Easy Roasted Garlic Spaghetti Squash

Roasted Pears with Cinnamon Honey Pecans

Pecan Pie Bites

These are some of our favorites and I hope they become some of yours!

I'm a long time cook/baker that makes food centric recipe videos to help the novice cook or welcome a seasoned cook that wants to focus on the food. I'm passionate about both Christmas and cooking. Once my baking gene gets activated in September, I want to bake all the things. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and come on into my kitchen!

  1. Busting out of my jeans over here. I am so ready to clean up, organize and meal plan. My son goes back to school tomorrow, so that marks the holiday is officially over. Started decluttering my daughter’s closet and I will be posted about it soon. Happy New Year, Kippi

    1. You’re in good company sistah! I’m ready to organize too. I saved all of the big boxes from Christmas so we have donate boxes ready to go!

    1. Well, I can tell you with a little spice or some reduced sodium soy sauce, even my cauliflower hating husband gladly eats it! 😀

  2. Hi this is Kristina visiting from Sunday Features. These are great looking recipes! That roasted pear recipe is particularly appealing to me, but honestly they all sound good.

    1. I have to say the roasted pears are one of my favorites and that’s coming from someone who hated pears as little as a year ago! 😀
