12 Days of Treats Fudge

Cookie Butter Fudge

Jump to recipe

There is no ingredient that makes the transition from Fall holidays to Winter holidays better than cookie butter.  Melt some up to dip some sliced apples and it feels like you should be walking at the apple orchard amongst the crunchy leaves.  Make something like the delectable goodness you’re about to see and it is reminiscent of subtle gingerbread.  The caramelized almost gingersnap taste in velvety spread form is almost dangerous to have in the house willy nilly.  You need a recipe like this to justify buying a jar…or ten.

This is seriously the easiest fudge recipe ever and people will dive for the last piece so consider sneaking a piece before you serve it to ensure you get some!  The cookie bits are plentiful and give a wonderful texture but you could certainly omit them if you want to go smooth.  But be bold, make a crunchy batch AND a smooth batch!  Let people decide which they like while they stand there double fisting them and making a mental note to move you up on their nice list.

  1. This looks and sounds great despite the fact I’ve no idea what a ‘jar of cookie butter’ is?! Is it like peanut butter or nutella but cookie based? Thanks for sharing at Fiesta Friday!

    1. You can see what it looks like toward the bottom of the post. It’s the consistency of peanut butter but tastes like a mix between a light gingerbread and caramel. It’s heavenly!
