Day 3 of the 12 Days of Treats is here!
Fudge is one of those recipes that many feel is too daunting to take on. But fudge that requires no candy thermometer, you just need your microwave and…oh, did I mention Nutella® was involved?
This fudge is so easy, rich and velvety, you won’t mind whipping it up for the holidays, a work function or Tuesday night after a long day.

10 oz (300g) bag of chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet are most popular)
6 1/2 oz (240g)
1 can (390g) sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper (use a little honey or a dab of condensed milk to the underside corners to help it stick). Spray the sides of the pan with cooking spray.
In a deep, microwave safe bowl, add all ingredients EXCEPT for vanilla.
Microwave for 90 seconds, carefully stir ingredients.
Microwave for 90 more seconds.
Carefully remove bowl from microwave with potholder, stir in vanilla. (If you are doing a variation and adding nuts or dried cherries, etc this is the time to stir them in)
Immediately transfer fudge to 8x8 pan and spread evenly to corners so it is all one thickness.
Fudge will set quickly
Cover pan with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Once firmly set, cut into 1” squares.
Will last in airtight container in the fridge for 7-10 days. (Ha...that's funny. It never lasts that long)
